Purdue Fashion Show Garment
February 28th, 2011
This semester I am piecing together my first garment for the fashion show at Purdue University. With several quality and progress checks along the way, this has definitely been a piece of work. The final product will be revealed at the Purdue University Fashion Show on April 2nd. Tickets are $15.00 and sell quickly!
Working with this pattern has not only introduced me to new sewing and design techniques, it has taught me precision, perfection, and most importantly, patience. I learned how to work with boning, make corsets, use piping, and properly line a dress. The process has been long, but it will definitely be worth it in the end!
